- Founded by Executive Producer and Director Morenike Efuntade Evans, Black Pearl Filmworks, LLC is a full service TV & film production company in LA. BPF develops and produces quality films and TV shows that are entertaining and provocative with universal appeal. With a Master’s in Film and a Bachelor’s in Journalism, Morenike has produced for major networks including NBC, MTV, BET, BETJ, E! and Disney Channel. Black Pearl Filmworks is currently developing 2 feature films, “Reality Check” and “Oil & Blood.” Both of these screenplays, which were written by Morenike Efuntade Evans and were finalists in Tribeca Film All Access competition and in Scriptapalooza screenwriting contest. A documentary, entitled “Fatherland” about Morenike’s her trip to meet her father and family for the first time in Nigeria is currently in post-production. And BPF is developing two talk/entertainment shows.
